New week, new activities!

Our project should be at the weekends but we all are so flexible that this weekend we had activities with children on Saturday and on Monday :). 

Saturday, 13th of October: 

At 1 pm we met with our children. We started with games again, but this time they had to run a lot.

Saturday's first activity was to make aquariums. We made them an example how it all should look in the end. Children were very enthusiastic and excited about this. They coloured many papers and drew some fishes what they wanted to glue on the aquariums. Eventually they succeeded - most of them finished their aquariums on time.

In their second activity, children made wallets from juice boxes. They were all given one juice/milk carton where they had to cut out and fold a wallet.
 

Monday, 15th of October: 
Activities started at 1 pm when all the children gathered in the glass studio. They all learned how to recycle glass and how to make new things out of it. Also, children were told the history of glass and how it was made several years ago. In addition, they were shown the machines what glass studio is using to melt bottles and other elements.

In the afternoon, before leaving children played recycling game during what they learned how people should recycle their trash at home.
 

15 Ekim Pazartesi  Günü: 

Pazartesi günü aktivitelere yoğunluklu olarak plastiğin, camın kâğıdın nasıl geri dönüşümünün sağlandığıyla ilgili alıştırma oyunlarıyla başlandı. Daha sonrasında cam atölyesi ziyareti gerçekleştirildi ve camın nasıl yapıldığıyla ilgili bilgilendirmeler yapıldı. Camın eritme işlemlerinin yapıldığı makineler gösterildi. Çocuklar tarafından camdan hediyelik eşyalar yapıldı.
