Youth Initiative 'Recycle with Children' takes place in Diyarbakır and
brings together children who are working in the streets or living under
disadvantaged conditions. The project has a duration of 5 months and the
activities are being hold during 9 weekends.
Children will be taught how to take care of our environment through non-formal education, lessons and games. They will learn easy techniques how to create original an useful things from their everyday life materials. During those activities children can improve their ability to share social community as well as their social life.
The objectives of the activities are:
*to make children more sensitive of taking care their environment and teach them to appreciate and enhance it
*to help children to understand how important is recycling for our environment
*to give children general knowledge about ecology
*to teach children how to use different techniques for creating useful and original products what are giving them the chance to express themselves as well as discover new talents
The project is implemented by 'Common Life' Volunteers ('Ortak
Yaşam' Gönüllüleri) with partnership of Youth and Change Association.
